Carly Milner
Registered Counsellor

As a dedicated Registered Counsellor with a rich background in nursing, allied health and child and adolescent mental health, I bring a unique depth of clinical and compassionate insight to my therapeutic practice. I support individuals across the lifespan, with a particular focus on clients navigating complex emotional, behavioural, or cognitive challenges.
Drawing on an integrative counselling approach, I incorporate evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My practice is grounded in person-centred, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented principles, ensuring that each client’s journey is guided by empathy, respect, and a deep belief in their capacity for growth and resilience.
With warmth and compassion, I work with both private clients and NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed. In addition to therapeutic counselling, I offer psychosocial recovery coaching and support coordination services—supporting individuals to build skills, enhance wellbeing, and live more independently.
I will soon be providing Positive Behaviour Support assessments, plans and reports, as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner.
My commitment is to walk alongside my clients with kindness, clinical expertise, and unwavering support as they move toward their personal goals and meaningful change.
